We Happy Few

Confusions

Qualms

In May 2009 I recorded the role of terminally ill teen Alex in Qualms, a play that is to be broadcast as part of the BBC Radio 4 Afternoon Play series. Written by Jonathan Myerson, Qualms looks at the effect that Alex’s disease has on his parents, and to what lengths they will go to try to change his prognosis.

DSL Graduate Showcase

Our group has chosen to present an extract from Alan Ayckbourn’s classic play Table Manners from his Norman Conquests trilogy. Our scene shows the calamitous events when the characters try to sit down for a pleasant meal together. I play the part of Tom the vet, whose attempts to cheer everyone up with a joke about cannibals does not go as well as planned…
