No Point filming complete

We’ve just finished shooting tennis short film No Point, which was written by Ben Hogan and Naomi Bullock. The comic film follows my character’s attempts to make it as a pro tennis player, while under the watchful eye of coach Barnaby. But does he have a chance at Wimbledon glory, find out soon!

Orbit VocalEyes Audio Description

I’ve recently recorded an audio description of the ArcelorMittal Orbit in London’s Olympic Park, the Orbit was chosen by Mike Brace as part of VocalEyes’ London Beyond Sight project. The recording took place in the beautiful National Theatre recording studio, and will be available to listen or download from the VocalEyes website shortly.

Very excited to have spent the last two days shooting for Everywhere, Vincente an exciting new short written by Melissa Advani, which we are co-producing under our Frozen Leaf Productions umbrella. The footage filmed by the very talented Aaron Szogi is already looking fantastic, can’t wait to see the finished product!

Tea & Coffee

We’ve completed filming today for the short film Tea & Coffee, directed by Mads Outzen and written by Jamie Grierson, which began life earlier this year as a live piece performed at Ginglik. The short will be entered in upcoming film festivals, so look out for it very soon!

Slam The Write

I have just finished two days of devising with First Draft for an exciting project called Slam The Write, working with a team of actors and writers we have improvised around a number of scenarios, props and pictures, which have then inspired a number of new short plays. These will be performed above The Horse at 7.30pm on Tuesday 24th & Wednesday 25th January and streamed live online on Fringe Factor radio. Tickets are free but it is advisable to reserve in advance at booking@firstdraft.org.uk or 07794 112989.
