Slam The Write
I have just finished two days of devising with First Draft for an exciting project called Slam The Write, working with a team of actors and writers we have improvised around a number of scenarios, props and pictures, which have then inspired a number of new short plays. These will be performed above The Horse at 7.30pm on Tuesday 24th & Wednesday 25th January and streamed live online on Fringe Factor radio. It’s Going To Be A Long War, Darling in London
After the success of It’s Going To Be A Long War, Darling in Lincolnshire, I’m delighted to announce that the show is transferring to London! I’ll be reprising the roles of Jimmy Fraser and Mr Waring at the Etcetera Theatre in Camden from 8th – 13th November 2011 at 7.30pm (expect Sunday at 6.30pm). Tickets are on sale here.

Acting The Classics
I’m delighted to announce that I have been offered and accepted a place on the Acting The Classics project. Over the next 2 years, this exciting series of workshops is being run by the Actors Centre in association with the casting departments of the National Theatre, RSC, Shakespeare’s Globe and Young Vic. I’m really looking forward to the chance to work with a group of amazing directors, practitioners and actors on the craft of classical acting. More information here.

It’s Going To Be A Long War, Darling!
In June I will be performing the roles of Jimmy and Mr Waring in It’s Going To Be A Long War, Darling! a bitter-sweet comedy about a scruffy evacuee from Yorkshire turning up in the genteel Lincolnshire home of Jimmy and Jean Fraser. The show will be touring to Blackfriars Theatre and other venues.

Return to the UK
After nearly 6 months on tour with Vienna’s English Theatre production of Romy & Julian, I am back home in the UK. The modern adaptation of Romeo & Juliet went down very well in Austria, with performances around the country and gathering other 6000 fans on Facebook.
